I’ve taken this Commuter Challenge thing to a whole new level. I like to come up with new ways to get to work by selecting different routes and modes of transportation. Since I have been doing this for over a year now, people are always asking me how I got to work today? So in this blog, I share my experiences in my travels. I hope you find this inspirational and that you too might find alternative routes and break from those usual patterns. Go ahead, try something new today!

Historic Indian Village

Once Upon a time, auto barons used to rule the world and when they did, they lived in Historic Indian Village

The morning was too perfect. No humidity, cool, fresh air. I detoured off Gratiot and did a fly by down the best neighborhood of Detroit. I wish I could walked down this street in 1918.

Sorry for the choppy pic, it's the best I can do 18 phr

cafe in the middle of the neighborhood

one of my favorites!

The street I took (Burns) to get there.
Good old fashion Detroit house here.

Can anyone tell me the history of the Sendca Lodge? It's right off Gratiot and Seneca.

I would have like to stay here during it's heyday.
